Medium close-up
A medium close-up allows us to see the characters face as well as the surroundings. Its allows us to see the emotions portrayed the persons face. It also accentuates the body language of the character.
Low-angle shot
This shot allows the audiences to see the character as powerful, dominant and superior as it makes him look stronger and bigger. High-key lighting has been used to allow the audience to see everything presented within the frame.
Extreme close-up
This shot allows us to see what the character is feeling, its as if you can feel what he's feeling through his piercing blue eyes. It also creates an enigma code as you would want to know what he's looking at - creates suspense.
Long shot
This shot allows us to see the characters whole body including the background. You can see that the character is trapped inside a strong glass container which instantly tells the audience that this character shown within the frame is the villain. You can also tell this by the facial expression portrayed on the his face; he looks aggressive and annoyed.
Extreme long shot
The extreme long shot allows the audience to see where the characters exact location is. It seems as if the male character is either lost or on quest/mission to do or find something.
High Angle shot
This shot makes the character look small and vulnerable which makes the audience picture the cat as weak. In this frame you can see that puss in boots has presented himself as a cute cat which can suggest hes fooling and tricking people into what he will do next. Manipulating the audience.
Close-up
This shot allows the audience to see the facial expressions presented on the characters face. You can see as if the character does not care about what is going on even though he is held in captivity, its as if its a joke to him, hence the reason why he is called the joker. You can instantly tell that he is a joker due to the make-up on his face.
